Mais + Her Giant Family

Big families are kind of a specialty of mine. When Mais contacted me about getting photos of her fairly gigantic family, it was an easy yes. I come from a pretty huge family myself. I don’t think I was totally prepared. Getting them all out onto the lawn at the same time was sort of a sporting event in itself. Luckily, not only were they all super fun and easy going, they were all just happy to be around each other. I can work with light and focus and composition, but recreating human bonds is outside of my capabilities. This family had no issues in that area.
